My Story
My business is rooted in my personal journey and a deep understanding of what it takes to find balance during major life transitions.
The Search for Balance
Before I became a mother, I was living in New York City, feeling stuck, powerless, and deeply out of balance. Despite years of prioritizing my physical health through nutrition, exercise, and working with a functional medicine doctor, something still wasn’t right. A difficult breakup and the pressures of living in New York during the pandemic forced me to confront a truth I had been avoiding: my values and priorities had changed, and New York was no longer the right environment for me. It was an emotionally trying time, and I wrestled with questions of identity and direction, feeling deeply unsettled.
Searching for answers, I dove into personal development work, envisioning a life less tethered to a nine-to-five job, more connected to nature, and truly balanced.
With the support of business coach Claire Sellers, I developed a plan to leave New York, untangled my identity from a decade-long career at the High Line, launched my own nonprofit consulting practice, and moved across the country to Colorado with my pandemic rescue dog.
From Pivot to Purpose
Colorado quickly felt like home, offering a more relaxed pace of life and a newfound sense of freedom and adventure. It was here, in this more balanced emotional state, that I met my husband and made life-long friends through the Sunnyside Run Club. Professionally, my consulting work was fulfilling, yet I knew I had more to offer.
Reflecting on the courage it took to move to Colorado and create a life more aligned with my values, I was inspired to pursue my health coach certification.
Motherhood Emotional Landscape
Two years into my new chapter in Colorado, another significant change arrived: I became a mother. Just as I meticulously strategized my move from New York with detailed spreadsheets, I approached my pregnancy with similar rigor—building elaborate baby gear lists, establishing relationships with specialists, and devouring the latest research on nutrition, supplements, fitness, breastfeeding, and more. Although my pregnancy was largely smooth, it became complicated toward the end by gestational diabetes and a permeating sense that 'another shoe was about to drop.' Well, that shoe dropped postpartum.
Despite all my careful preparation, my 'best-laid plans' went out the window. I faced a cascade of unforeseen (but unfortunately common) health challenges, including isolation, insomnia, hypothyroidism, intestinal inflammation, pelvic organ prolapse, fluctuating milk supply, and immense pressure to exclusively breastfeed. The mental and emotional toll was overwhelming—it consumed my focus, pulling me away from precious bonding time with my son.
It wasn't until nine months postpartum that I began to find healing and break the cycle of symptoms by leaning into the strategies I now use with my clients.
This experience inspired a tremendous calling to help other women navigate the motherhood transition.
Your Blueprint for Balance
I know the feeling of being deeply unsettled, and I know the path to finding balance, contentment, and healing.
This transformation isn't just my story; it's the blueprint for what’s possible for you.
My Credentials & Guiding Influences
My foundation as a holistic health coach comes from my certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Beyond formal training, my approach is deeply enriched by nearly eight years of personal health transformation under the guidance of functional medicine doctor Lilli Link at Parsley Health. During this time, I experienced the invaluable perspective of being coached myself, most recently by Jessie Lucking during my postpartum recovery. I continue to integrate insights from other mentors who have shaped my growth, including business coach Claire Sellers and run coach Ashley Mateo.
Professionally, I bring over a decade of experience from my career at the High Line, where I built and mentored talented teams in public-facing roles. This work honed my ability to guide, support, and connect with others—skills I now bring into my coaching practice.
My commitment to supporting mothers and families is both professional and deeply personal. After the birth of my son, I received in-home postpartum doula care from Sanctuary Doulas & Family Care. Today, I serve as a fundraising consultant for their nonprofit arm, Sanctuary CARES, which provides zero-to-low-cost postpartum care for lower-income families across Colorado’s Front Range. This work keeps me closely connected to the real-time needs of mothers, including those most vulnerable, and grounds my coaching in both lived experience and professional expertise.
I've learned through my own journey that balance and good health are built on compassionate support, practical tools, and honoring the unique path each person walks. My practice is grounded in these values, shaped by the guidance I’ve received and the transitions I’ve navigated.
